Check In

  • You'll be able to check into Handbridge House any time after 3pm. There is a key safe at the front door. The code for this will be sent in a separate message the day before your arrival.

 

  • Upon departure, please make sure the house is secure and the keys are put back in the safe and the code scrambled.

 

  • We politely request that you leave the property clean and tidy.

Parking

  • Due to the central location of the property, there are only 30 minute parking spaces outside the property for unloading at peak times (these spaces are unrestricted in the evenings).

  • There is however a parking permit for one car at the Grosvenor Arms pub car park across the road. When you arrive at the house, the permit will be in the holder inside the front door. Please leave the permit visible in your car and park in any space at the pub.

  • The car park is sometimes closed outside of their opening hours of 3pm and 11pm. If you need access to the car park outside of these times and if the car park is closed, you can use the key box to come in and out. The key box is located on a wooden post/fence near the exit and the code is 3040. Please make sure that you return the key to the key box before leaving, and check that it is secure.

  • Upon check out, please make sure that you leave the permit back in the holder by the front door. This is to ensure it is available for the next guests and so that we can keep track of any missing permits. There is a charge for lost permits which is detailed in our Terms and Conditions.

  • If you have more than one car, there are nearby car parks and residential streets where you can park.

  • Alternatively, the train station is a 5 minute taxi ride or a 20 minute walk to the house.
     

Bins

  • Please note there are no wheelie bins at the property because of lack of access so please ensure all rubbish is in black bin bags in the dustbin in the courtyard.

  • These will then be taken by the cleaners to a commercial bin where it will be sorted for recycling etc.

Other Information

  • Please be aware that the courtyard located to the rear of the property is shared with the spa/salon next door. We would be grateful if you could keep this area clean and clear and be respectful to our neighbours. Please refrain from smoking in this courtyard if they have the back door open!

  • Any other information and recommendations can be found in our Welcome Book in the property.

  • One important thing that we do ask, is that you respect our neighbours by not being noisy during the evenings/nights given that all of our properties are located in residential areas.
